Question: How hard is it to get a "pay day loan"?

I know they are dumb and have high interest but my boyfriend need's money for rent and his refund check for school won't come until thursday and he needs to pay rent on tuesday. I know the interest is horrible. He doesn't have much credit.. it's not good or bad... just not much. How hard will it be for him to get one? Will it hurt his credit? And say he asks for 300 and pays it back 3 days later or something.. how much will he have to pay back? 350 or something?

If he has a job they're not too hard to get. You're right, getting payday loans are dumb. Better to go to your landlord and say you may be a few days late this month. He might let it slide if it doesn't become a regular occurrence and then you don't have to worry about this payday loan thing. Good luck.
